Thanks you so much … But I have a question, this is different to the Jan or Feb 1995 Radio One Essential Mix I recorded. I was a student at the time, I remember staying up that night just so I could switch the C-90 cassette over on my tape deck when it got half way – I stayed home instead of going to a party just so I could tape it.

That mix started off with Romanthony ‘Ministry of Love’, into Todd Terry ‘Jumpin’ .. this is a different mix, which is awesome, as I havent heard this one, but what about the other?

Hows that for trainspotting, 15 years on!! 🙂

Probably my favourite mix of all time. Great to get a new copy of it. Had it on tape originally, copied it to CD, then MP3. Still listing to it! Thanks for the memories CJ.

I’ve managed to download a few of your mixes from 94-95, including the one above, and what an absolute breath of fresh air they are.
I can’t wait until you get round to uploading your stints at the Ministry (’91-’95). A wonderful period in house music. Thanks CJ.

This is the essential mix which really got me into house music in ’94. It inspired me from then on, and over the years I’ve DJ’d, produced, and am still doing it now. Been looking for this for 10-15 years as I have nearly worn the old TDK cassette out. Nice one CJ. You don’t know just how happy I am right now.

Have to say that 94 essential mix changed my musical life, used to play that & the nervous mix free with dj mag? non stop throughout 94. Anybody know much about the version of willie ninja that is played? i could never find that version only on a poor quality boot.

Hi, really wanted to download this mix but the link does not appear to be working anymore. Can you get it fixed? I recorded the original on tape and played it to death! Hopefully you can get JT sorted.

CJ you once did a mix at cream in the early 90’s which contained a version of willie ninja@s I’m hot for you which i’ve never been able to get hold of. It was a version which held the first chord with a skippy beat to back up. was this an acetate or can you help much love and thanks for the great nights out>
